Installation of paratext 9

Question

I would be grateful if you could assist me resolve this problem I encounter anytime I tried installing Paratext 9 on my PC.

Which version of Windows
are you using?

  I saw this once on a Win 7 machine. It needed to be updated with

the latests patches before it worked.

  On a Win 10 machine it just needed an updated version of .Net to

be installed.

Greetings. I am grateful with your prompt response given last time. In your response you advised that if it were Windows 10, then I need to install
.Net as stated below:

  On a Win 10 machine it just needed an updated version of .Net to

be installed.

I downloaded version 4.8 of .Net and when I tried installing it on the PC, the message I get is that the version in the PC is higher than the 4.8. When I checked on the internet, the version 4.8 is said to be the latest version. Your assistance is still
greatly needed to enable me install the Paratext 9.

From the image that you sent with the initial report, the error is occurring when Paratext is trying to load a Keyman DLL.

Do you have Keyman installed on your machine?

If you do, does it currently work?

If you had it installed at one time, but uninstalled it. Maybe some old registry values are still around.
