I just created a lengthy 15-step error report about a very complicated urgent issue, and it failed to send. A dialogue box asked if I wanted to send it later, and I said yes. But I’m hoping to communicate with someone soon about this urgent problem without re-creating the length report. The report doesn’t exist on my desktop. Help topics say that “Paratext saves your report as an encoded zip file (with the extension .p8pr) on the desktop of your computer.” But in this case, it did not. Anywhere else I can look for this report?

I finally received the automatic response with my report, so I was able to get my write-up that way. But I’d still like to know if that report can be found hiding someplace on my computer before that response comes back to me.

If you allow Paratext to attempt to resend the report later, information will be saved in:
C:\Users{userName}\AppData\Local\Paratext80\QueuedProblemReports

When Paratext starts, it will attempt to resend the reports that are saved in this folder. The folder will be deleted when all queued reports are sent.

Thanks! That works. I’ve created a bookmark to that folder so I can quickly access that when I need it. I think my network connection in the village is intermittent enough that I want to be able to access my report immediately on a fairly frequent basis.
