I always have two windows open for our project, one that’s grouped with other windows and one that has the Group set to none*. When I click on a verse in the Wordlist, how does PT choose which window to send that verse to? I want it to send it to the grouped window, but it always seems to choose the other one :disappointed:.

* This is because I use the book XXF for making notes about the project as a whole: our chosen best practices, a history of the copyright and disclaimer text that we’ve used, etc. I’ll write more about this in another post, under the title “Keeping notes on the project as a whole {metadata, record keeping, recording policies}”

When I’ve tested this, Paratext seems to consistently choose whichever of the two windows I opened first. So if you open your grouped project window first, it should use that one.

If you’re not sure which one you opened first because you’re loading a Saved Text combination or the arrangement of windows you had open the last time, look on the list of windows in the Windows menu. The one opened earlier will be higher on the list.
