Options for cross reference lists

Question

Paratext ships with the cross reference list from the GNT92 (Short Bible Reference System, edited by Robert G. Bratcher © 1961 UBS). This is freely licensed for Paratext users to import into their projects.

Are there are other cross reference lists (.xrf files) which are freely/widely available?
If so, how do they compare to the GNT92 list?

Or does every new translation simply reuse the GNT92 list?

Another option is a list I like to call “The Works” which I’ve adapted (with permission) from the BibleWorks consolidated master xref list of frequently cited passages. Download via GitHub.

Biblica uses the cross-reference list taken from the NIV Study Bible, copyright Zondervan in our major language translations. It is not free for us to use. If there is interest in using it minority language Bibles please reach out to me or Biblica and we can see if we can work out an arrangement that would make it free for you to use.
