Many of our MTTs are using Basic View to draft and edit. However they cannot see or edit footnotes in this view. Pressing F7 does not work. Is there a way to turn on footnotes in this view?

Stuart,

Basic view has functioned this way for a long time (possibly since it was added). In talking to the developers the idea of working with footnotes in Basic view was considered more than basic.

If you think this should be addressed, please add a feature request through the Paratext help.

Thanks,
Since I made this request on behalf of others, I will let them know how they can request this feature.
