I have an system where I set up a project to be regularly Send/Received called tagBB17, but then I deleted the project permanently without turning off the scheduled Send/Receive. I now have a notice that appears all the time at the bottom of my desktop:

Paratext projects are scheduled to Send/Receive now:
tagBB17

Click this box to save projects and Send/Receive.

Is there anyway to turn off scheduled Send/Receive for this project?

CrazyRocky, there is not an easy way to simply edit some external file and remove this schedule. The information is stored in the userSettings.xml file found in the UserSettings_Name folder and the information is not easy to figure out. I would suggest two possibilities:

  1. Reinstall the project and then with the project installed change the schedule settings.
  2. Reset the user settings by holding Shift while starting Paratext. (“yes” to reset and “no” to report a problem). Be aware that this will cancel all of your schedules so you will need to set those up again.

Thanks anon848905.
I reset Paratext since the project was deleted and not available to reinstall.
