Will Platform Bible work with Paratext?

Paratext 9's successor will be Paratext 10 Studio. Studio will be based on Platform.Bible and will integrate with Bible translation and language development tools as well or better than Paratext.

sorry for my ignorance but exactly is the functionality and difference between, platform bible vs paratext 10 studio?
also do you know if the new PTX print can run alone or does it need to have paratext feed into it like earlier versions?

In general, Paratext 10 Studio will have features that (a) are too opinionated to be in Platform.Bible, (b) can't be open sourced (e.g., due to licensing agreements for critical data), or (c) directly put user-made data onto our server infrastructure. Currently, features on Paratext 10 Studio which aren't on Platform.Bible include:

• Text collections (a)
• Word lists (a)
• Digital Bible Library (DBL) resources (b)
• Send/receive (c)
• Extension manager (c)

This work is independent of PTX Print. I haven't heard of a "new" PTX Print, and I'm not aware of one that works completely independently of Paratext.
