When I open Paratext I get a message, "DUOT project on your computer could not be opened.  This project is not compatible with this version of Paratext.  Please upgrade Paratext to version 9.5 or later to use this project."

I work on the DUOT project as a consultant.  I'm afraid that if I upgrade to 9.5, a different team that I work with as a facilitator will not be able to open the project on their computers. Some of their computers will need more memory installed before they can upgrade to 9.5 so it's not a simple task.

A given project should only require 9.5 once that project has opted into whitespace and invisible character support. If that is not done, the project should continue to be usable in 9.4. Simply using 9.5 should not change the projects on your machine to require 9.5.

I'm also curious that you say that some people can't upgrade to 9.5 because they need more memory. The system requirements for 9.5 shouldn't be any different than 9.4. Can you tell us where that idea is coming from?
