Do there already exist any syntax highlighters for USFM?

These could be in the forms of

  • pattern matchers
  • parsers
  • semantic highlighting
I'd like to know how difficult it'd be to provide this functionality in other USFM editors.

We're using /xt in footnote cross-references, set to use 'short name' of book. But in the glossary I'd like to use ... name, is there a different USFM code I could use for that?.

I am trying to find a non print way of marking passages. So that we can flag the name of the translator and the dialect he speaks. I’m thinking a USFM. Does anyone have any ideas.
