We're in the final stages of polishing up two different Bible translations in preparation for printing (yay!). We have been through the entire word list for both projects, and we have no remaining incorrect or uncertain words in the list. But as I've been reviewing the text, I keep seeing words underlined as though they are spelling errors:

When I right-click on it, it shows up as capitalized as though Paratext thinks it should be written with a capital letter.

The word is marked as correct in the word list, but underlined in the text as an error. But when I try to run the capitalization check in the word list, it finds nothing. Why is it flagging the word in the text but not in the word list?

I can make the error go away by clicking "ok" (or if necessary, correct the word) but I have no way to find the words being underlined other than by looking through all 66 books (plus add-ons) and looking manually for underlined words. Can someone advise me what to do?

This is part of the wonder of the wordlist. If a word is marked as valid in the wordlist when it is a capitalized state then when a lowercase occurence is encountered it will be marked as incorrect (since the wordlist says it should be capitalized).

Here is a quick(?) video showing how to deal with this:

Thank you for the video. It wasn't very quick on my slow internet, but I got through it with a little patience. smiley

But basically it seems to confirm what I already feared: other than manually scrolling through the entire Bible looking for underlined words, there is no way to find the capitalization errors? This is two full Bible translations, so it would be a pain to have to scroll through every chapter of 132 books (plus several add-ons), manually looking for underlined words.

I obviously wasn't clear. I would recommend going to the Wordlist and scrolling down to find any word that shows the "Not always capitalized" message. These are the words that are showing up underlined in the text. Most of these you will probably click on the "Both forms OK" option to indicate that it is okay to have this word in lowercase. Once you have done this process in the Wordlist you should not see words underlined in the text for this same capitalization issue.
