Greetings,

I am working with a table that have a number of Scripture references like this sample.

\tr \tc1 Mak 10:27 \tc2 1Jon 1:9 \tcr3 1Kor 1:5

When run basic checks I get the following error message just the references with numbers the others are fine.

TDS 1:0 Invalid suffix: 1Jon
TDS 1:0 Invalid suffix: 1Kor

Any suggestions for a correcting this error message?

The issue here is that 1Jon and 1Kor are being checked as numbers rather than references. In order to have the TDS references checked for validity you should mark then with the \xt…\xt* markers

\tr \tc1 \xt Mak 10:27\xt* \tc2 \xt 1Jon 1:9\xt* \tcr3 \xt 1Kor 1:5\xt*

Thanks anon848905,

That makes perfect sense now. That’s for your help.
