I was just trying to install the automatic patch for 9.2.102.14. At first, Windows gave me this error:

The error went away by itself and Paratext ended up opening (after a few more windows about another instance of Paratext running, whether those were from me trying to on Paratext again or not, I’m not sure). However, .13 was still installed.

I restarted Paratext and the same error came up. The error again went away by itself and this time the update installed.

I just wanted to that here, in case anybody else encountered the issue.

I restarted my computer and temporarily disabled Avast antivirus to try this again. The update installed just fine this time. Not sure if it was the restart or disabling my antivirus, but it doesn’t seem to be related to the update itself. :+1:

I suspect Avast Antivirus.
Since 9.2.102.13, Avast seems to cause PT9.2 to start twice each time, PT would start most the way and then do it again. I had to exclude PT9.2 from scanning to fix the problem, on multiple systems.
