Enhanced Resources will automatically link to a project. If there are more than one project open, the enhanced resource will link to the active project. It is recommended to open all projects first (standard translation, back translation, etc.), make sure the translation project is active, then open the desired enhanced resource. Opening the projects and resources in this order should result in the enhanced resource linking itself to the translation project automatically. If the title bar says “No project”, the automatic linking did not occur. Click anywhere on “No project” and select the project to be linked to the enhanced resource.

It is only possible to link an enhanced resource to an open project. If the project that you want to link to the enhanced resource is not there, then it needs to be opened first.

Once the above setup is done, Paratext will maintain the linking when Paratext is restarted. It can also be part of a saved layout. The linking of the enhanced resource to the Biblical terms of the project will be remembered as part of the layout.
