I just had a weird problem. My NBS11+ Enhanced resource, when I clicked on a research term, was giving the definitions of that word in English. My Paratext UI is in French, and it was a French resource. I researched the problem for a while, and now all of a sudden it is showing the definitions in French:

Any idea why it was doing that? What determines the language of the definitions shown in the tool? Was that just a temporary fluke? It’s working now, so no error to report…

The code searches the definitions first for the language of the resource, then for the UI language and then for English.

If you were always clicking on the same word, I’m not sure how the results would be different.

There are some entries that are missing the French definition - a quick search of the Greek dictionary shows about 40 more English definitions than French definitions - so it is possible you will see English on some words.

But ALL of the definitions in the same verse were in English, so I don’t think it was just a random missing definition.

Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
