In the Biblical Terms Tool, in the Major Biblical Terms list, many of us have 6822 terms but one translator has 6023 terms. Checked all the tabs and they are similar.
What is the reason? What is wrong?
I am sending the screenshots.

Are you both using the same version of Paratext? One screenshot looks like it’s from PT8.

Also, I see 6822 and 6803 - so only a difference of 19.

This can happen when filters are set differently. I cannot see the top of the Biblical terms tool for the project on the left. Please set all the filters like this example on both machines and see if you don’t get the same number:

The other problem people have is that the very top of the Biblical Terms window will always display the name of the Biblical terms list that is set in the associations tab of the Project properties even if the list being used is changed within the tool. This is a known bug that has be reported, but users need to be aware of.

Yes, all the team members are using PT8.

The team wants to know why those 19 terms are missing. In the Help menu, it says that the Major Biblical terms is around 8000+

Sorry, I meant the exact same version. Like 8.0.100.X.

Has that person been able to do send/receive of the project? One thought would be that your list has an update of terms with some of those terms split. Those terms have rendering discussions that are inserted by the newer Paratext distribution.

That should not be a problem after doing send/receive. Those discussions notes should be shared with all users regardless of the version they are using.

As anon291708 suggests, checking the version of Paratext on each computer is important.

Yes, we are all using 8.0.100.83 or 8.0.100.90. I have asked the translator to update to 8.0.100.90.

I will check again with her tomorrow and see.

I took the screen shot of the translator’s screen and mine to tell you the difference in the terms.

Please check. May be, you will be able to sort this out.

Thanks,
