Unable to correct spelling in supplementary books

A user with permissions for a supplementary book (e.g., XXD) is unable to correct a misspelled word with the right-click “Correct Spelling” option, a message is displayed saying that it hasn’t found any occurrences (even though there is one). Nonetheless, the misspelled is marked as “incorrect.” What are we doing wrong?

The Wordlist In Paratext 9 cannot correct words in extra books.

A couple of weeks ago I received this message from support (Steve White): This has been reported and is on the list of things to fix.
In the meantime, you can use Paratext 8 to make those spelling corrections in extra books, if you have it installed.
