What's new in PT updates?

Is there any record of bug fixes and other changes in successive Paratext (8 and/or 9) updates? Or is this information not publicly available?

We don’t have any place that lists the fixes/changes included in an update. The biggest reason is the time it takes to create a report that is useful to users.

Typically, if only the last part of the version number changes for a release (“release” meaning that the 3rd number is “100”), only bug fixes and fixes for serious usability issues are included in the update.

Automatic updates available locally?
I just checked for updates, and it then installed automatically. Is the install file now located somewhere on my ... in my remote location without having to download it again?

If Paratext cannot check for updates
Phil Leckrone and I had a mysterious problem, that John Wickberg diagnosed for us. Our Paratext could never check for ... BITS queue and our Paratext could check for updates again.
