What does it mean when there is no Greek text in the parallel passages tool? The Hebrew shows up, but not the Greek. And if I open a source text tool, the Greek appears fine there as well.

I just encountered this same problem. The Greek text displays in the Source Language Tool, but not in the Parallel Passage Tool. Hebrew displays OK. Filters are set to show “All Parallels”, and “Hebrew/Greek Text”. Starting Paratext while holding down Shift had no effect.
Paratext 8 was installed for the first time 2 days ago.
Windows 10, French UI. Paratext in English UI.
I reported the problem in Paratext.

I figured it out. The file C:\My Paratext 8 Projects_Resources\LXX.p8z was missing. This prevented ANY Greek text (even NT) from displaying. Adding that file back restored the display of Greek text.

jeffh,

What version of PT are you using? Do you have a filter on for the Parallel Passages? If you are PT8 and have the OT/OT filter then you will only see Hebrew.

What version of PT? What filters? What verse are you trying to see?
