A user has a project (ApalVB) that uses a legacy font. She reports that in the Parallel Passages and Checklists tools, the text is not displayed using the legacy font specified in language settings, but another font that does not show the special characters correctly. In all other environments the text shows correctly using the legacy font. I have duplicated the issue on my computer, and the text appears to be displayed in a default Unicode font used for comparative texts.

A factor that is probably significant is that, even though the project uses a legacy font, the encoding in Properties and Settings is 65001 Unicode.

Is there a quick fix for this? The user is in the last stages of preparation for typesetting and is using Checklists and Parallel Passages a lot. Her internet bandwidth is extremely small, supporting only email.
