Inserting Cross References in my Paratext 9.5 (Advanced > Insert Cross-references, etc.) gives three connected asterisks *** in the text and three of the same references in the footnote section. What should I do to have them properly inserted (one * and one ref. in the footnote)? I found out how to bulk delete them (edit > replece, find: a code). Maybe someone can email me the "UBS_nt_ot.xrf" file to replace what's in my _Cross-References folder?

Every time you run the insert cross reference tool it automatically adds the references. If you want to delete the existing references, make sure to check that box:

I'll send you a link to the current UBS_nt_ot.xrf file by private message.
