In the parallel passages tool in the menu to select which passages to display it is possible to select "Not yet drafted" but I would find it more helpful to have "Only drafted" which would avoid having multiple empty columns in the lower pane which simply makes checking the drafted passages harder. Is there a way to do this?
Thank you,
Pauline

I have created a plugin tool that can be used to "hide" books or chapters that you don't want to include in the Parallel Passages tool. Here is a quick video of how the tool works.

You can download the installer files from here. (link updated October 2, 2026)

And here is a quick video on how to install the plugin.

This looks excellent but it isn't installing in my PT. I run the install file and it says the tool has been installed but nothing is appearing in the Tools menu. Is this because I'm using PT 9.6 beta and not PT 9.5?
Thank you for trying the installer. I need to look at that today because I had the same experience when I tried this at home. I do have another way to install the tool and will try to post that later (after I've tested it).
The installer has been updated to work correctly with Paratext 9 and Paratext 9 Beta folders in c:\program files. Note that if you have installed your program files in a different directory, these may not work.

According to what I've read, the tools should install regardless the operating system language, but I'd be happy to hear from someone who installs it on a different language.
Thank you, this works now (English Windows, French PT) and will really make life easier, particularly in a project's middle phase when there are only a half dozen books to be compared.
