AVG finds a Trojan horse in the PT8 installer

AVG just found a Trojan horse in a PT8 installer on my machine:

I don’t imagine I need that installer in \ProgramData\Package Cache, but it’s a bit disconcerting. I recently had a similar problem with a program I wrote, and asked on StackOverflow, eventually submitting the file in question to AVG, and they have now fixed their virus definitions. You can read the details here:


I thought I would bring this to your attention, in case anything needs to be done about it.

Download offline installer for Pathway
Can I download an offline installer for PW? I need to install it on lots of computers, and we have an expensive, ... bootstrap realise that it doesn't need to download them again?

Can I delete the cached PT installers?
My 120 GB SSD C drive is getting full, and when I look for what's taking space, the cashed installers for PT 7.5, 7. ... TB drive, and move them back if I want to do an uninstall?
