I am just getting started with PTXprint. I do want to use Paratext but, as I am using a Mac, I am waiting for Paratext 10 to be released. In the mean time, I have a translation of the Psalms prepared (and the rest of the Bible to an earlier iteration) and I have formatted Ps. 1 as a USFM and want to see how PTXprint works and looks. So in PTXprint, how do I get past installing the Berean Sample Bible or downloading a bundle from an online repository? Please and thank you.image

I think you click "Locate" in step 2 and then you can select your file.

Thank you. I had to look at where PTXprint wanted my files and make adjustments. Now I have to figure out why the program keeps becoming unresponsive..

Here is what Mark Penny answered in an earlier question:

Fortunately this question has already been answered in this (relatively recent) video: Typesetting Scripture without Paratext. (Note that there are several new short videos that might be worth watching in the PTXprint showcase.)

The video explains 4 different ways of using PTXprint without Paratext installed. If, after watching the 90-sec intro, you want to skip ahead to the scenario you describe above (just one or more USFM files in a folder) then join at 8m50s to show you how to make it work.
