Since moving to PT 9.5 a project I work with, when running Basic checks has started receiving an error message which says:
Unexpected quotation mark value «

However, this is exactly the quotation mark that is expected at these points. What is even more confusing is that same quotation mark (same unicode) is accepted elsewhere in the project, including in the same book as where the error messages are occurring.

Having given this message it then goes on to report that there is a closing  quotation mark without a corresponding opening one (because it's failed to recognise it). Can someone explain what's happening and how to stop these erroneous messages,

Thank you.

There is a new check in Paratext that looks for quotation types. This can be turned on/off with the check box on the quotations type tab of the quotation rules. If unchecking this box doesn't help with the issue, please use the Help > Give Feedback tool in Paratext to report the issue so that the developers can see the data.
