Can I put TOC at end?

Is there a way to put the TOC at the end of a publication? That is the standard in French publications.

One thing to try would be the following:

1. Create the PDF with the TOC at the beginning

2. Extract the TOC to a separate PDF

3. Recreate the PDF and use the TOC as a Back Matter PDF

This may or may not work depending on what else you are trying to do, but for a simple process it does seem to work.

This may be the easiest way to do it. Although in my two-page TOC, there is a small "iv" page number at the top left of the page. You probably would want to try to find a way to edit the PDF file to remove that page number, as it doesn't make sense at the end of the publication.

There are various tools that can edit a pdf. I've started using PDFgear as a free tool to edit. I it is very simple to simply remove the page numbers on the second page of theTOC.

Yes, now that I look at it, PDFgear makes quick work of that: Click on the Edit menu, select Edit Object, right-click on the page number to be removed and select Delete.

And while you’re in PDFgear... get it to put the TOC at the end as well! First click the Save (or Save As...) button to save the page number change above (it can’t reorder pages on an unsaved document). Then go to the Page menu, check the boxes next to the TOC pages, drag and drop them to the end of the publication, and Save again.

You can probably ick up the contents periph and put it in the BAK book. Failing that you put the contents of the contents periph in the BAK book. There is nothing about the contents periph All the is in \ztoc

I put the following in my BAK file (and included it in the list of books to print), and it gave me decent results:

\is Table de Matières
\ip \ztoc |main\*
\ip
However, once I uncheck the Table of Contents option in Peripherals (so that the TOC doesn't ALSO appear at the beginning of the publication), the TOC "magic" goes away, and the \ztoc command doesn't produce anything. I assume that's because the %\GenerateTOC command is commented out in the .tex file.
