Is there a way to output pages from PTX as spreads? Not for the printing press (booklet pagination settings, like 2-up etc), but for reviewing, proofreading, meaning we want successive pages next to each other.

Depending on the PDF reader that you are using, you can choose a Book view that keeps page 1 separate and then lets you see the other pages in spread mode.

In Sumatra, this is under the View menu > Book.

For Adobe Reader, this is
Steps to use Two Page View
     Download the PDF.
Open the PDF in Adobe Reader.
     Select View.
     Select Page Display.
     Select Two Page View.
Select Show Cover Page in Two Page View.

You can view spreads in the built-in PDF Viewer, but you can't yet choose "spread" as a "finishing" option (instead of 2-up). It would be relatively easy to add that as another option, BUT it will certainly confuse some simpler users, so I am trying to understand why you wouldn't just print it as a booklet (2-up) and review it.

Another option would be to tell the printer to place 2 pages side-by-side and get the 'spreads' that way - but again, I'm struggling to understand how this is helpful (or better than a booklet).
