I've been thinking about the process that was suggested for retrieving an earlier version to print, in this discussion

https://support.bible/13481/is-there-a-simple-way-to-print-an-older-version-of-a-text?show=13481#q13481

I think there is an even simpler way to do it:

  1. Mark a point in project history.

  2. Use revert books to bring back the earlier version you want to print

  3. Print (or make PDF) from the reverted books.

  4. In project history, find the point you marked in step 1, revert the books to that point. This should reinstate the earlier versions.

If you want to minimize the time that the books are reverted, or you want to be able to adjust your printout of the earlier version, what you could do in step 3 is create a new project, import the reverted books into that project, then restore the current version of the books in step 4. The prior version is in the new project that you can then print in multiple ways. You could  perhaps even print a diglot, with the current version on one page and the prior version on the opposite page.
