It seems that the "Start 1st Chapter on a New Page" option is not working in PTXPrint 2.7.6.

If I select "All Chapters" then chapter 1 does start on a new page, as do all the other chapters. But of course that's not what we want. Is there something I'm missing? Chapter 1 is marked with \c 1 in Paratext.

The developers will need to address the bug that is causing this not to work. In the meantime you could add the following line to the changes.txt file to force a page break before \c 1

"(\\c 1\s)" > "\\pb\1"

This issue is still there. I just typeset a project for review/proofreading and the issue is still there.

Yes, this appears to be a bug/regression; but there's a reason why it *does* manage to start ch 1 on a new page for some books and not others. It [currently/wrongly] depends on how much of the page has been filled, before deciding to start a new page for chapter 1. So if you want to force it to do so more reliably, there's an easy workaround:

Advanced Page, Other Tab (at the top), Open the 1st set of settings for "Page Layout and Spacing" and then change the "Page full factor" from 0.65 (default) to something like 0.30 and it will then start each book's ch 1 on a new page.
