Hi all,

I'm working with a project that previously marked all footnote callers manually. Now, we have started experimenting with marking footnotes with "/f +" to generate the footnote callers automatically. However, we want the footnote caller sequence to start over by book when we publish. In playing around with multi-book publications (e.g. Psalms and Proverbs) in Ptxprint  and export to RTF in Paratext, I couldn't find a way to make the footnote caller sequence reset by book rather than just continuing from the previous book.

For example, in a Psalms-Proverbs publication, the last footnote caller in Psalms is currently "g," and Ptxprint and export to RTF currently makes the first footnote caller in Proverbs to be "h" rather than starting over again with "a."

I'm new at trying to figure out Ptxprint and the publishing side of things, so I could just be missing something.

Thanks,

Aaron

Hi, Sorry for the slow reply.
What you're asking for is the default setting in PTXprint...  You can turn it off, if you really want to, in the 'other' page on the 'advanced tab', but the default is to do just what you ask.

Unless... are you using a module?

IF you are using a module, then I've just added some code that should make the above control work in modules too, and it should be  in the next release.
