The Paratext Registry (https://registry.paratext.org) is a website with a record of all registered Paratext users, Paratext projects, and organisations which use Paratext.
The Paratext Registry enables organisations to follow the progress of Paratext projects and helps organisations avoid creating duplicate or conflicting projects.
Anyone who wants to use Paratext 8 (including Paratext 7 users) must register on the registry.
You will need a Google account to register as a Paratext user.
All Paratext projects which are registered are able to use the full functionality of Paratext. (The only exception to this is a guest user. See What is a guest user?)
Projects which are not registered will be unable to use the following features:
- Send/Receive via the Internet
- Project Interlinearizer
- Print Draft
- Save as RTF
- Export to Pathway
- Guess Translations
- Guess Renderings (in the Biblical Terms tool)
