When will Scripture Forge handle the autocorrect.txt file?

Question

When using Paratext, we rely on the autocorrect.txt file to type a number of things (proper quote marks, for example) which can't be typed with the regular Keyman keyboard. However, in SF, the autocorrect.txt file seems to be ignored. Is there a plan to fix this?

Hi Mark,

Scripture Forge doesn't currently support autocorrecting, but this looks like something we could probably do. Can you point to documentation/specification for how autocorrect.txt is supposed to work?

The AutoCorrect file is simply a UTF‑8 text file saved in a project's folder. Corrections/changes are noted in the format "word-->changed word" on separate lines. Commenting is recognized by the # character. \uXXXX can be used (where XXXX is a Unicode value) for specifying Unicode characters. Changes are applied in the order in which they appear.

The most helpful source I've found is within Paratext's "Help", which contains articles such as
