I've installed the beta version of software. Do I need to update it?

Absolutely. If you are using any version of software it is best practice to keep it updated, but particularly when you are using a beta version of Paratext you should make sure it is updated to the latest version. Before reporting problems with the software it is a good idea to check for updates and then test again (note to self to do this!).

To make sure you are receiving the latest updates of beta software, make sure that the option to automatically check for updates is selected. You can also manually check for updates under the main menu > help > check for updates (if necessary expand the menu to see this option).
