Can I get colored text using Print Draft?

I am producing a Bible with added commentary \add \add* that I want printed in color. By default \add is Bold and Italic ... this in PT8.0 but the issue also applies to PT7.6.

If bold or italic formatting is lost in PrintDraft

For some reason, in some fonts, the bold or italic formatting does not appear in PrintDraft. For instance, I have a ... bolditalic{ Annapurna SIL:script=deva;embolden=2;slant=0.2 }

How to override Italics in custom.sty?

(mnjames writes) The usfm.sty stylesheet has \Italic as one of the attributes of \Marker qt I would like to have ... and \Bold formatting but not a way to take them away.
