I receive an error when using \qt when the quote includes another marker such as \pg…pg*. Does this mean no other marker can be used with \qt? That is a bummer. Is there anyway around this? What is there purpose for this error?

@CrazyRocky Thanks so much. About 12 years or so ago, I was told this was impossible. Glad we can do it. Now I have a ton of work to do!!

Is there any chance this will cause issues with the publication rendering software. I’m assuming that since it is USFM 3.0, it should be ok.
Again, thank you!

If I recall correctly, nesting markers was added for USFM 2.4 (about 9 years ago in Paratext 7.4) so you should be fine.

Ok, great. Thanks!

Try using nested character markup notation for \pg
\qt Text \+pg text \+pg* text.\qt*
