Can someone tell us what the minimum hardware requirements for Paratext 9.2 will be?

I have been looking at new laptops and it seems that the most common configuration has a 256 GB solid state hard drive. It seems to me that 256GB is too small to run Paratext and Logos with Translator’s Workplace well. Logos is recommending a 512GB hard drive with 60GB available. For Bible translation, we might want to recommend more than 256 GB since Translator’s Workplace now has several videos included and is very large. (Granted, the videos can be removed from machines with smaller hard drives, but users will have to learn how to do this.)

The hardware requirements for 9.2 should be the same as 9.1.
I realize this is not hardware, but it is an important change - from 9.1 to 9.2 there is now the requirement of a 64-bit version of Windows, and .Net 4.8 (which will be installed by the installer, if needed).

Wow, the recommended requirements for Logos in that link describe a $1,000 PC (probably closer to $1,500 if you want the recommended monitor resolution). That’s crazy. That’s the type of system I would buy for moderate gaming. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
The minimum requirements are much more forgiving.

I wonder if anyone has considered using the Logos web app. For places where internet is good but computer budgets are lower, using Logos via app.logos.com might work out just fine. Seems like it has most of the same capabilities.
