Our project is using space (or thin space) for the thousands delimiter, but for 4-digit numbers a space is a bit awkward as it leaves one digit hanging alone. (e.g. “5 000”) We we would prefer to have no delimiter in this case. Is there a way in Paratext to tell it to accept no delimiter in numbers with 4 digits (but expect the delimiter for larger numbers)?

anon989803 - there is no way to set different rules for 1000 and 10000. One option is to set your rule and then when Paratext reports errors for 4-digit numbers use the deny error in the list window.
