Pt9 freehand menu placement - is it possible

Question

In pt9, is it possible to set up a work environment with customized window sizes? (As opposed to non-adjustable automatic 2, 3, 4 column setup). I looked everywhere but have not (yet) found it.

Yes indeed. How did you do it?

If you didn’t know, in PT9 you can grab a pane’s caption bar and drag it around. You can then drop it when the highlighted area is where you want it to go. This allows you to create complex layouts like the one in the screenshot.

@Sewhite also created a video for an old Alpha version of PT9. Note that it now works slightly different than is shown in the video, but hopefully it gets the idea across.
