For over a year we have been warning people that the Paratext 7 Send/Receive server would be shut down at the end of 2018. We have had a couple weeks of grace, but as of Friday, January 18, the server is no longer accessible from Paratext.

My team has been working with groups around the world and sending out emails to try to track down everyone who has not migrated. We have created a number of new organizations in the registry in order to accomodate Paratext 7 users who did not have a home in Paratext 8. But I’m sure we didn’t get everyone.

For those who need to access the Paratext 7 server after today, we do have a plan in place, but it will be on an as-needed basis. You will need to contact this list or other support staff with your need and we will try to work with you to get your data migrated over.

They have not been deleted. If you contact support, they should be able to help you access them temporarily. We are having a period of grace time, but you need to contact support to set it up.

Thanks.

Actually, they contacted me: kudos for the proactive contact :grinning::grin:.

I connected to the PT7 server just after the new year in order to do what I thought would be a final Send/Receive. I did that, but there wer still two or three “new” PT7 projects that had been shared with me. I couldn’t receive them because of naming conflicts.

I didn’t get around to solving those issues. Is there any way to get those projects now? or have they been deleted for ever?
