PT8 Project Plan missing OT Books

None of the created OT books in the project are available in the book list inside the “Assignments & Progress” window.

Is this a known problem?

(Win7x64 SP1, PT8 v56)

Make sure that you go to Projects > Project Properties and Settings > Books Tab and then select all the books you want to have in the Plan. The books in the plan are based on the books in the Books tab.

Project Plan compatibility between PT8 and PT9
An expat translator here in PNG set up a Project Plan in PT8 a while back, but it is not based on an SIL- ... is implemented in PT9, can the national translators still work in PT8?

Why is the "Create books" menu item missing?
I'm using Paratext 9.1. According to the help, I can create a new book by clicking the project hamburger menu ... been selected, including ones that haven't been corrected yet.

Project properties / books - list used anywhere
When creating a new project, books must be selected on the books tab. Is this selection then used anywhere? If ... should be in control of the books to be translated.
