Hi,

Linux Paratext 8 is failing to make available new project plans, that became available after the initial install.

To fix this:
Close down paratext.
Open a terminal and copy and paste in the following (pressing enter/return after the paste):

cp -n /usr/lib/Paratext8/ParatextProjects/_StandardPlans/* ~/Paratext8Projects/_StandardPlans/

Now when you restart paratext 8 you should have access to all the new project plans.

Thanks but I am trying to find out from which PT8 Linux version the compact plan should actually be available. I’m trying to figure out if someone, without techie skills, in a remote location does need to upgrade or not. Presumably the steps you list will only work for “more recent” versions after the compact plan was added? When was the compact plan added into the Linux version? Thanks.

The SIL Compact Plan - Rev 1.xml was first added about 12 months ago, so 8.0.1.45 was the first Linux version to contain it.
