PT8 Patches - installation location

Can the patches for PT8 only be installed into the default location? (C:\Program Files (x86)\Paratext 8)

I chose to install PT8 in a different location, for security reasons, and when I try to apply a patch, it doesn’t apply it in my chosen location.

Any solution for this please?
