Hi, The send/receive window (under File - Send/receive Projects) suddenly doesn’t find any projects, even the MTT is registered as a translator in two projects and has been working on them for the last three months without problems in the send/receive function, internet is working fine, Paratext is set up for normal internet use, nothing has changed since it worked last time (except a Paratext update from 8.0.100.35 to 8.0.100.48). In the send/receive window Paratext gets stuck in “Loading data” to search for projects to do a send/receive.

He has Win 10, latest version.

Any help will be appreciated
Thanks

It gets stuck on “loading data: Waiting for SEnd/Receive server” and therefore it doesn’t display any projects in the send/receive window (where it says “projects to send/receive”).

I uninstalled Paratext and reinstalled it again. Sometimes in the past this has solved some of my problems. I tried to send/receive again, opened the File - Send/receive Projects dialoque, but it gets stuck again. The bar says: Loading data: Searching for local “xxx” for most recent changes…" No change for a long time…

Could you you try again and wait for five minutes and, if it still does not continue, use Help > Report a problem to report the issue to us? My guess is that there is a problem with one of your projects.

Problem resolved: I saved the MTT’s text. Then I deleted the project from his computer, then downloaded it again from the server, then deleted the book he was working on and imported the text from the backup. Then send/receive worked. Still don’t know why it was blocked, but I can’t reproduce the problem now.

Can you clarify: Does it get stuck on “Loading data” or does it not find any projects?
