I just converted a project in PT8 using composed normalization, but when I went to the Character Inventory, it still had decomposed characters. I was under the impression that the convert project was supposed to convert all decomposed characters to composed characters if that option was chosen. Is that not the case?

If that is not the case, is there a way to find/replace decomposed with composed without messing up the history?

The intent was to have the Convert Project process make the new project
data normalized in a consistent way.

If you have a project that fails, then we have a bug in the conversion code.

If you send your project information to me off list ([Email Removed]),
I’ll see if I can reproduce the problem and determine what’s going wrong.
