I am trying to set up an autocorrect.txt file in a Paratext 9.5 project. I have followed the instructions in the Paratext help files. It doesn't seem to be working at all. What could be wrong?

It would be helpful to see some of the contents of your autocorrect.txt file. Can you share some of it here?

Sure, here's a sample:

# Implosives
@b-->ʼb
@d-->ʼd
@g-->ʼg
@j-->ʼj
@B-->ʼB
@D-->ʼD
@G-->ʼG
@J-->ʼJ

# High tone
*a-->á
*e-->é
*i-->í
*o-->ó
*u-->ú
*A-->Á
*E-->É
*I-->Í
*O-->Ó
*U-->Ú

Have you restarted Paratext after you created the autocorrect.txt? The samples that you made work fine for me.

Yes I have, plus send/receive and restarted my computer... Have I got it in the right place?

you file might be named autocorrect.txt.txt

1. Click View -> Show -> File name extensions

and rename it to autocorrect.txt
Ah, I have found the problem - I had managed to name the file autocorrect.txt.txt! I noticed that when I attached it to send to you. It's working now that I have changed that. Thanks for your help!
