Just updated to PT 9.5 (Win11) As startup of PT, I get a popup message about PT needs to update its list of plugins. The user is a standard user (not in administrator group). I tried to run PT 'run as administrator' from within advanced properties but I still get the same popup message. How can I grant elevated privileges? It doesn't seem 'run as administrator' is the way forward. Any help? Otherwise, if the user clicks, OK, the message goes away and PT opens as usually. However, there will always be this popup message.

The popup about plugins should appear anytime there is a new plugin (like Transcelerator or Map Labeler for example) or if there is a major update to Paratext. It must be allowed. This should only appear once if these conditions occur. If you have Paratext set to "run as administrator" then it will always ask for permission to run when it starts. It should not be necessary to use this setting.

Thank you Phil. I did look in the Plugins folder and only found Transcelerator. Everytime I open PT, I get this popup window. I can click, OK, to move forward but everytime I open PT this popup displays. With 'run as administratro' I don't get any message about permission to run. PT starts as usual then I get the Plugin popup window. Im searching for a way to give PT elevated permissions (again, the user is a standard user, not computer administrator).
What version of Paratext is the user running? It is important to make sure that Paratext updates to the latest current version. Something else to try on the computer is a Paratext reset: https://paratext.org/ufaqs/how-do-i-reset-paratext/
I am using the latest, 9.5.101.3. I tried the reset with hold Shift while opening PT, that didn't work. I still get the message about updating plugins and require elevated privileges. I do see a black command prompt open briefly before closing. Maybe there is something in that window. Is there a PT log I could read?
Something else you might check is the version of Transcelerator. The current version is 3.2.0. You can download this from: https://software.sil.org/transcelerator/download/.

If you are still having problems with this, use the Main menu > Help > Give Feedback in Paratext to report the issue.
Thank you for the assistance. I am running Transceletator v.3.2.0 which is the latest. So I don't think that is the issue. I will start a help ticket, via Feedback.
Resolution:
I was able to grant the standard user group modify access permissions via to folder: program files\paratext 9\. This had to be done from the administrator profile. Generally, standard users don't have permission to modify system files, they only have read permissions. The specific file that PT was calling was: "C:\Program Files\Paratext 9\UpdateParatextPluginCache.exe". Once I granted modify permissions to the PT9 folder to the standard computer user, the update took place during startup of PT9.5 and the warning message was no longer displayed as a popup.
