Hi,

I receive the following error when I try to register. I have set the firewall (Win11) to allow local and internet traffic.

I also received a JSON-RPC error while trying to do a first time S/R. However when I restarted PT10 all my SR'd files were there!

Hi EpiWaetMan!

Thanks for exploring Paratext 10 Studio!

If you can successfully download resources and perform Send and Receive, I believe you likely entered your registration data properly. There are some known issues with the registration dialog that can make it look like something went wrong when it didn't in some situations.

If you'd like to make sure your registration information is correct, you can find it in the following location:

  • On Windows
    • `%localappdata%/Paratext100/RegistrationInfo.xml`
  • On macOS
    • `~/Library/Application Support/Paratext100/RegistrationInfo.xml`
  • On Linux
    • `~/.local/share/Paratext100/RegistrationInfo.xml`

It is interesting to hear you received a JSON-RPC error while trying to do a first-time S/R. Does it happen on subsequent S/Rs? Would you mind attaching your Paratext 10 Studio log file so we can further investigate the issue?

Thank you very much! Have a great day.
