NET Bible was a useful resource to me in PT7. I would really like it to be available in PT8. What do I need to do?

Looking in the File menu I wondered if it might be possible to install the previous NET resource zip that we had from Paratext 7 but this doesn’t seem to work. There is an option to install from C:\StdTexts as we did before, but do we need to have new resource zips (.p8z files) now to bring things into Pt8? I’m thinking it’s probably worth any teams that use NET holding off a transition to Pt8 until it reaches resource-parity with Pt7.6.

Sorry just noticed that What resources are NOT in Paratext 8? answers my questions and mentions stuff about other resources which aren’t yet ready as well as mentioning the helpful spreadsheet showing progress in renegotiating licences and getting texts available in DBL for PT8. https://app.smartsheet.com/b/publish?EQBCT=d45dc942d6d54ec2be58fb4868f9f9d7

The resources in PT 8 come from the DBL. At this moment, NET Bible is not there. It might help if you would contact the copyright holder of the NET Bible and urge them to get their text into the DBL and permit ParaTExt users to download it (if possible).

The NET Bible could be in the DBL even though it is not available as a Paratext 8 resource. To request that DBL material is made available as a Paratext 8 resource, use this form: https://docs.google.com/a/sil.org/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdcyW8cmxgr_SG6dKb6I2C5CmRTt7iI-LE1h5M6M95I25DWig/viewform

I think NET must be in the DBL, because it’s listed in the YouVersion app, which, as far as I understand, gets all its translations from the DBL.

I looked and could not find it on the DBL.

It is available now in Paratext 8 from the DBL.
