Is it possible to specify the width of the Outer Gutter?

When I tick the Outer Gutter box on the Layout page it seems to take its size from that specified for the Binding Gutter and then to not include a binding gutter. Is that how it's meant to be? What if I need both a binding gutter and an outer gutter? Surely one shouldn't preclude the other, and I'd normally want them to be of different widths.

Unfortunately we do not have separate settings for inner and outer gutter. Instead, you are encouraged to do some calculations to work out the Side Margin Width AND Binding gutter in order to arrive at the outcome you desire. For example, here are some settings that might give you what you need (adjust as required):

and by just tweaking those two values, you should be able to get different inner and outer gutters.
