That is what the text looks like. I want the program to print the book name and the chapter letter, the Hebrew aleph. It is putting the Hebrew aleph on the same line as the main title.

What is it that you want to do? Can you create a little mock-up and share a screen shot on the list? I don’t know how well PTXprint handles \cp, but that marker is intended for a published chapter character. See: Chapters and Verses — Unified Standard Format Markers 3.0.0 documentation. It looks like you have both an aleph and a title? Maybe the title should be in a different marker?

You are right, Jeff. I switched to \cl instead of \cp, and it’s doing what’s needed. Thanks.
