I added a Biblical term, which worked well. In the verses list the renderings are highlighted as expected, but in the actual text this newly added term is not highlighted. (All others are as they should be when Highlight biblical term renderings is checked.)

Only after I restarted Paratext, the newly added term is highlighted in the text too. Is this a bug or expected behaviour and/or is there an easier way to get the text updated?

I'm not exactly sure what you are seeing, but here are a couple of things to keep in mind. Paratext highlights the terms that are found in the associated terms project. If you are adding terms to the project list, then the star must be gold. The terms should show up immediately if the correct highlighting is selected (orange for guessed rendering and grey for approved rendering). However, sometimes there are "burps" that may require Paratext to restart.

Thanks for your reply. I'm not sure why this happened at that time. It seems that Paratext (9.4) now highlights such terms immediately.
